Clare Smale BA (Hons) PGCE FInstLM FRSA - Clare is the lead tutor and assessor for ILM coaching and mentoring qualifications. She is an expert in coaching and has published two books, plus coaching cards:

- The A-Z Coaching Handbook
Clare works closely with a wide variety of clients to design and deliver specialist training in coaching (including ILM qualifications) for beginners through to advanced skills.
Clare is an ILM level 7 Diploma qualified coach. She holds the EMCC Individual Accreditation at Master Practitioner level and also the European Supervision Individual Award. She also holds the Professional Certificate in Supervision from Henley Business School (University of Reading). Clare is an NLP Master Practitioner and trainer. She is a very well regarded executive coach, trainer and speaker in a wide variety of organisations.
Barrie Smale MA CMgr FCMI - For over 25 years Barrie has been involved in the design & delivery of a wide variety of accredited and non-accredited development programmes to a diverse range of clients across different sectors, both in the UK and overseas. He is BPS Level A & B qualified and licensed to use MBTI, MiRo Behaviour Modes & the Hay Leadership Style Inventory. LinkedIn profile

Margaret Berrill DMS FCMI Dip DM is an associate tutor and assessor for CMI Management and Leadership qualifications. She has an industry background and is an experienced senior management practitioner. Margaret now runs her own coaching and management consulting practice where her clients span a range of industry sectors. She is passionate about good leadership and has a strong commitment to her business and community activities where she is an ambassador for Save the Children. Margaret has post-graduate qualifications in Strategic Business Coaching, Marketing and General Management Studies. She also has extensive experience in lecturing, assessment, and moderation in Further and Higher Education in leadership & management and coaching & mentoring disciplines.
Eloise Burton CMgr is the Internal Quality Assurer for CMI Management & Leadership and ILM Coaching qualifications. She has extensive experience in management and runs her own coaching practice. She also works with a range of Awarding Bodies as an External Quality Assurer. Eloise is passionate about developing confidence through high quality, authentic leadership in life and at work and always keen to discover new approaches and theories.
Andrew Coates is an associate tutor for ILM coaching and mentoring qualifications. He is an ILM Level 7 qualified executive and senior level coach with over 25 years’ experience of developing both people and organisations. Before becoming a coach, he worked across a number of sectors from events and education to employment and skills (private, public and third sectors in both small and large organisations), with a focus on leading strategy, sales, marketing, communications,change management and learning and development.
Adrian Goodall PCC is part of our specialist asocaite team of coach supervisors. He is an experienced coach of 13 years with substantial prior experience in commercial roles. As a supervisor, he is supportive and encouraging, raising awareness of coaches’ strengths and ‘systemic’ patterns, and bringing rigour to understanding of coaching competencies, process and potential options in their work. In addition to i2L and his own business, he works regularly at London Business School with executives from around the world. He believes strongly in everyone’s potential to ‘make a difference’, and how they can perform better with clarity, confidence, better communication, and balance.
Sue Gravells BEd (Hons) is a leadership training specialist, group learning facilitator and an executive and team coach and she has well over fifteen years of consultancy experience in the learning and development arena. Sue qualified as a coaching supervisor at the Henley Business School where she met Clare and she provides virtual group coaching supervision to many of the i2l learners. Sue brings a rich breadth of experience and a depth of expertise, to support the learning and development needs of participants in group supervision, working alongside them with empathy and purpose, wherever they are on their learning journey. Sue is an EMCC accredited senior coach and ILM Level 7 qualified. She is certified NLP Master Practioner and NLP executive coach and a member of the British Psychological Society (A & B Qualified)
Heather Humphries MCIPD is an assessor for CMI Management and Leadership qualifications (CMI). Heather worked in the public sector for 30 years in a variety of management roles including internal consultancy and training, assessment and verification. She is currently Director of her own retail company which she runs with her husband. Heather has been an assessor with i2L since 2008 and enjoys reading learners' work-based examples when reviewing assignments. In her spare time she loves long walks in the countryside with her two border terriers.
Michelle Lucas, is an Accredited Master Executive Coach and Accredited Coaching Supervisor. She is a seasoned practitioner with a background in Psychology and HR in fast paced commercial organisations. When coaching or supervising she invites curiosity to consider individual and organisational dynamics as well as the interplay between the two. While essentially taking a person-centered stance, she is also eclectic … weaving into her work influences from Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Systems and the Thinking Environment. In addition to I2L and her own business she is a Supervisor for the MA students at Oxford Brookes where she trained herself.
Bill Moore CBE CCMI CMgr FInstLM is an accredited executive and team coach who also enjoys leadership coaching and development. Bill is a CMI Companion and Chartered Manager and has received international and national recognition for his leadership. Before training as an executive coach, Bill was the CEO of a global property firm. Prior to this he was a soldier, finishing as a member of the Army Board. In addition to working with i2l, Bill coaches senior leaders in the armed forces in their transition to the private sector and he holds several non-executive directorships. His collaborative and systemic approach enables coachees to set sensible and pragmatic aspirations. Bill also recognises that adopting and working within a system are important if clients are to cement long lasting and meaningful changes. He enjoys trekking and cycling and is a volunteer mentor with several organisations.
Kate Pinder MA, MBA, Dip in Counselling is our specialist IQA for ILM supervision qualifications. Kate is an EMCC and AoCS member and was awarded a merit on the first supervision qualification programme run by Oxford Brookes University. She co-managed an ILM centre offering coaching qualifications and has continued as an external quality assessor since for the higher levels. She is passionate about quality in coaching and coach supervision and was among the first to be recognised as a coach in the UK.
Nina Murray CMgr FCMI is an associate tutor for CMI Management and Leadership qualifications and CMI Chartered Manager. She is a highly accomplished leader and a very passionate tutor with a rare ability to bring together deep commercial and operational experience, with extensive skills in leadership, management, L&D, HR, facilitation and coaching.She is a qualified NLP coach & practitioner, MBTI practitioner and business trainer. With her background predominantly within the private sector, years of experience in manufacturing and huge passion for learning and development. Over the years Nina has trained and developed 100’s of managers, leaders and senior leaders. Her recent work has been focused on facilitation of change and business coaching for owners of small businesses.
Catriona Patterson MCIPD MBPS PGDipman BA is an associate tutor for ILM coaching and mentoring qualifications. An ILM qualified coach through i2L, and previous in-house lead for coaching at a local authority, Catriona has over 10 years coaching experience. She currently specialises in one to one executive coaching through her own company. With a background of 25 years in HR/OD and coaching roles across the private and public sector she has a real appreciation of the challenges faced by leaders, managers and staff in organisations. Catriona is a member of the Southwest Councils Executive Coaching Pool and is a Newbury AC, Co-Coaching Facilitator. She has lectured in HR management and tutored management undergraduates at Henley Business School. She has a passion for developing others and her own practise.
Ray Rowlings MBA CMgr FCMI MIC MInstLM PIfOD is an associate trainer and assessor for CMI Management and Leadership qualifications. Ray has over 18 years experience designing, delivering and developing management, leadership and organisational development programmes for the private, public and third sectors. Ray has authored a number of development guides for the CMI’s Professional Qualifications in Management and Leadership. Ray is currently an Independent Apprenticeship Assessor for management and leadership apprenticeships at levels 3 and 5. He holds BPS qualifications in occupational testing and assessment and is licenced to facilitate a number of psychometric assessments.
Natalie Watkins BA (Hons) MCIPD is an associate trainer for CMI Management and Leadership qualifications. Natalie has over ten years experience in HR management roles, including leadership and management learning design and delivery. She is an experienced coach and creates a relaxed, challenging and thought provoking learning environment. Her career spans management, HR, L&D, business partnering and coaching. Natalie's work is influenced by mindfulness, clean coaching, psychometrics and NLP. Natalie lives in Wiltshire with her young family and two recently adopted 'golden oldie' cats and a dog. She is a volunteer mentor with the ASPIRE foundation, mentoring women from voluntary and not for profit organisations.
